|We started out visiting our nephew Jamie and his wife Denise in Pembroke Pines.
They have a pool, a kayak, and a Hobie Cat, and their back yard is on a lake. What a life!|
Their neighbors Lon and Trish and their daughters Haley and Sarah came over for a while on Sunday.
|On Friday and Saturday the wind was too calm to go out in the Hobie Cat.
Then on Sunday it was blowing over 30mph, so only the truly experienced,|
like 10 year old Haley, were permitted.
|We went to a Red Sox exhibition game at the Orioles's
Spring Training stadium in Fort Lauderdale. Most of the|
big name players were playing in the WBC or stayed back in Fort Myers, but we did get to see Jacoby Ellsbury steal a base.
|After the game we went down to Miami Beach for a few days.|
